Ahern slams comments on benchmarking report

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has warned unions representing public sector workers not to make hasty comments on the benchmarking report published yesterday.

Mr Ahern was responding to the Garda Representative Association, which described the 5% award for its members as a sick joke.
