Ireland's largest gay pride march is due to take place in Dublin today. More than 6,000 people are expected to join in the event in Dublin.

6,000 expected at Pride parade

Ireland's largest gay pride march is due to take place in Dublin today. More than 6,000 people are expected to join in the event in Dublin. The parade is part of an annual Gay Pride festival which started this year on June 17th and finishes this Sunday.

The parade has been held annually since 1992. The march will start from the garden of remembrance at 1.15 pm. Traffic restrictions will be put in place across Dublin city centre in conjunction with the event.
