Pensioner dies after collision five days ago

A 68-year-old man has died as a result of injuries he sustained when he was knocked down five days ago.

John Walsh, from Scarriff, Co Clare, had been attending a funeral when the accident occurred outside a cemetery last Sunday.

Mr Walsh died of his injuries overnight at Cork University Hospital.
