Reid seeks way to address scars of Troubles

The British government must find away to address the hurt caused during the Troubles in the North, according to Northern Secretary John Reid.

However, Dr Reid said today that such a move should not risk a shared peaceful future in the North.

His comments are the closest any British government minister has come to admitting that a South African-style truth commission may be needed to help Northern society overcome its past.
