FAS cutbacks set to affect Cork workers

Cork may be facing up to 500 job losses if a proposal to reduce FAS Community and Employment schemes is carried out.

Community service throughout the city and county could be severely disrupted with the Community Development Initiative already voicing concerns over the future state of services if the cutbacks are carried out.
