Man dies in Co Mayo accident

A man has died after his car hit a truck around a mile outside Knock in Co Mayo this morning.

The accident happened on the Charlestown Road at around 6.15am.

A second man was also injured and taken to Castlebar General Hospital.

Gardaí are withholding the dead man’s name until all next of kin are informed.
