Several houses along the so-called peaceline in east Belfast were set on fire last night during further clashes between rival loyalist and nationalist youths.

Several houses along the so-called peaceline in east Belfast were set on fire last night during further clashes between rival loyalist and nationalist youths.

Both sides have accused the other of starting the violence. Bricks, bottles, stones and petrol bombs rained down on houses on both sides of the interface, despite the recent heightening of the peacewall dividing the two communities.
