Talks on peace process during the week

Irish and British governments are expected to hold talks on rescuing the peace process in the North in the next few days. Both governments are to hold the talks with Northern politicians.

The British Prime Minister Tony Blair announced the meeting at the British-Irish council summit in Jersey yesterday.

It comes after numerous requests from the first minister in the North, David Trimble. While no exact date has been set, it is expected that all parties involved will meet over the next few days.
