US envoy urges community leaders to end violence
The United States special envoy to Ireland, Richard Haass, has urged community leaders in Belfast to take action to stop sectarian violence at Catholic-Protestant interfaces in the city.
Speaking after talks with Bertie Ahern in Dublin this evening, Mr Haass said: "At the end of the day, the answers aren’t here in Dublin, they’re not in London, they’re not in Washington," he said.
