Maskey appeals for calm in Belfast

The new Lord Mayor of Belfast has said that he wants to calm the present tensions that exist in the city.

The Sinn Fein member Alex Maskey says that he wants unionists to listen, look and learn as negotiations go on.

He insists that he is now in office for the next 12 months to do business for all the people of Belfast.

His pledge comes after three people were treated for bullet wounds after been shot in clashes overnight.
