Police officer's car bombed in Belfast

A policeman’s car has been seriously damaged in a pipe bomb attack on his home in Belfast this evening.

Police are describing the device used in the attack as ‘sophisticated’ after they examined the remains of the bomb which was left outside the officer’s home under his car.
