Gardai attempt to reduce road accidents

Gardaí are out in force this weekend, to try to reduce the number of road accidents.

They are warning world cup fans not to drive today if they have been drinking during this morning’s Ireland game.

Statistics show more accidents happen during Bank Holiday weekends. The national safety council are appealing to motorists to be extra vigilant.
