Drugs with a street value of around £500,000 (€780,000) have been seized in Northern Ireland, police said.

One person was arrested after large quantities of Ecstasy tablets and cannabis resin was found yesterday in a Ford Escort stopped by officers on Longlands Road, Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.
