Pilots' strike hits World Cup fans

300 Irish World Cup fans have been forced to change flights as the Aer Lingus pilots' strike looms..

The pilots' strike at Aer Lingus on Thursday has led to flights being disrupted, including flights to Amsterdam where football fans are taking a connecting flight.

Tour operator Ray Treacy Travel has confirmed that the 300 fans will be accommodated overnight in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
