An inquest into the deaths of six-year-old Deirdre Crowley and her father Christopher has heard that both died of a single shotgun wound to the head.

An inquest into the deaths of six-year-old Deirdre Crowley and her father Christopher has heard that both died of a single shotgun wound to the head.

The inquest in Co Tipperary heard from State Pathologist, Dr John Harbison, that it appeared Christopher Crowley, had shot his daughter with a sawn off shot gun and then shot himself in Clonmel last August.

Deirdre Crowley was taken from her home in Co Cork by her father two years before.
