Garda conference to discuss joyriding

Rundown Garda stations and the increasing risk posed to members of the force by joyriders, are expected to top the agenda when the Garda Representative Association holds its annual conference in Cork this morning.

Although officials are not revealing what is planned for discussion, it’s thought the association will highlight the poor conditions many are forced to work in around the country.
