McCreevy: No cutbacks on public services

Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy has responded to Michael Noonan’s demand for a statement on the public finances.

In an open letter to the Fine Gael leader, Mr McCreevy says there are no cutbacks envisaged in the public services like health in 2002.
