FG: public do not want FF overall majority

Fine Gael is claiming that the public does not want a Fianna Fáil overall majority despite a poll showing the party threatening to win 51% of the vote.

This follows an IMS opinion poll which puts Bertie Ahern’s party at 51%, and on track for a single party government.
