IRA ceasefire 'still intact' - Ahern

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern tonight insisted the IRA ceasefire was still ‘‘very much in place’’.

He made the comment after breaking off campaigning in the general election to meet Northern Ireland’s First Minister David Trimble in Dublin.
