Gardai in Limerick investigate burglary

Gardai in Limerick are investigating an aggravated burglary at a computer component factory in the city overnight.

An undisclosed amount of software was taken in the raid.

Three raiders, wearing balaclavas entered the Modus media plant in the Plassey technological park around 2am last night.

They were armed with knives and a hammer and proceeded to tie up the security guards.

They made their getaway with an unspecified amount of Microsoft CD's in one of the security guard's cars.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.
