The Continuity IRA has admitted responsibility for a bomb attack on a police training college in east Belfast on Tuesday night.

The device exploded outside the Garnerville college while bomb disposal experts were attempting to examine it, but nobody was injured in the blast.

The back gates of the compound were slightly damaged.
