Tourism expected to create 25,000 new jobs
An expected 25,000 new jobs will be created in the tourism industry over the next five years, according to a new survey by the training agency CERT.
The report estimates that in total, 125,000 new recruits will be needed in the sector, with the majority of positions arising due to people leaving the industry.
CERT chairman Eamon McKeown said it is highly likely that workers from abroad will fill some of the posts.
