French strike causes delays for Irish rugby fans

Irish rugby fans returning from France this morning are facing delays at ferry terminals because of industrial action by French customs officers.

The dispute over pay caused delays of between two and three hours last night and a knock-on effect is expected this morning.

Irish tourists who took Easter breaks in France could also be affected by the action.
