Damning report criticises corrupt, unequal Ireland

Corruption is a central theme of Irish life and politics, according to a report conducted by an independent social consultant.

The report found that Ireland is regarded as one of the most corrupt European states and added that, although Ireland has prospered in recent years, it is also one of the most unequal societies, with very low investment in public services.
