Police in the North have released two of the six people who were arrested in connection with the recent break-in at Castlereagh police station.

Sensitive documents were stolen in the St Patrick’s weekend raid at what is considered to be one of the most secure police barracks in Europe.

Three men and a woman remain in custody in relation to the break-in, they were arrested yesterday during raids by police and the British Army in Belfast and Derry.

Sinn Fein has condemned the arrests as a smokescreen to cover up the activities of the British Special Branch.
