Brutal beatings overnight

Two people have been beaten overnight in the North in what has been described as paramilitary-style beatings.

Around six men set about beating a 31-year-old at Newtownards. The gang beat the man with baseball bats. A gun was also held to the man’s girlfriend when the attack happened.
