Missing Meath teenager's body found in Galway

A body found in Galway today has been positively identified as that of 19-year-old student Donnacha Dalton from Dunboyne in Co Meath.

Donnacha who went missing in Galway on March 3rd and a large scale search had been ongoing. He had been attending a 21st birthday party in the city when he was separated from friends.

The body was found by a passer-by at 1.40pm today and was taken to University College Hospital in Galway, where a postmortem is due to be carried out later tonight by Assistant State Pathologist, Marie Cassidy.
