Taoiseach vows controversy will not delay aquatic centre

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has vowed to do all he can to ensure that the aquatic centre under construction in west Dublin is not delayed by the controversy surrounding the project.

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has vowed to do all he can to ensure that the aquatic centre under construction in west Dublin is not delayed by the controversy surrounding the project.

Speaking in Dublin, Mr Ahern said it is important that the aquatic centre is ready in time for the Special Olympics, which take place in Ireland next year.
