Glass recycling factory may be saved

A factory closure that threatened the future of Dublin’s glass bottle recycling services tonight looked likely to be averted.

A survival plan for the Ardagh Glass plant in Dublin's Ringsend was recommended for acceptance by trade union representatives of the 375 workers at the firm, whose jobs were set to go.
