The Attorney General’s report into the aquatic centre fiasco is unlikely to be published today after Paddy Teahon, the chairman and chief executive of Stadium Ireland, failed to respond to the report by today’s noon deadline.

The Attorney General’s report into the aquatic centre fiasco is unlikely to be published today after Paddy Teahon, the chairman and chief executive of Stadium Ireland, failed to respond to the report by today’s noon deadline.

However, Mr Teahon is expected to appear before the Dail’s public accounts committee to answer questions about the scandal later today.

The committee wanted to quiz Mr Teahon about the Attorney General’s findings, but it has not seen the Attorney General’s unpublished report.

Nonetheless, it plans to proceed with its hearing this afternoon and it expects Mr Teahon to attend.
