Homeless levels to be studied nationwide

The most comprehensive assessment of the scale of homelessness in Ireland is taking place this week.

Information is being collected on people who are in contact with the various homeless services.

In addition, there was a head count this morning on the numbers of people sleeping rough. Mary Higgins, director of the Homeless Agency, said the report will be published in May.
