AG's report due on aquatic centre contract
The Attorney General will present his report into the latest controversy to hit the Campus Ireland project to the Cabinet today.
Michael McDowell has had 10 days to investigate why a dormant company with €6 in assets was among those awarded the €62m contract to run the campus' aquatic centre.
Mary Harney was said to be aggrieved at the situation and is believed to have been appeased by the appointment of PD member Mr McDowell to investigate.
The Opposition is demanding the publication of the report, although it is unclear whether this will happen or whether any action will be taken.
