Informers lives at risk following Belfast break-in
A number of police informers in the North have reportedly been told that their lives could be at risk following the break-in at Castlereagh police station in Belfast on Sunday night.
The police have confirmed that "some documentation" was taken during the raid, which targeted the Special Branch office in the fortified barracks in the east of the city.
Security sources have not named a suspect for the theft, but the raiders are believed to have had inside information of the station. Northern Secretary John Reid has described the break-in as a breach of British security.
