FG attacks Taoiseach over aquatic centre fiasco
Fine Gael has launched a scathing attack on the Taoiseach over the controversy surrounding the aquatic centre currently under construction in west Dublin.
Party spokesman Charlie Flanagan said Bertie Ahern is deeply involved in the Stadium Ireland project and he should be available to answer questions about how a dormant company became involved in it.
"This Sports Campus project is the Taoiseach's pet project," Mr Flanagan said.
"It was he who appointed everybody involved.
"It's he who has the answers - he has files, records, all documents - and it seems to me that it's the Taoiseach who should be answering the questions, not the Attorney General," Mr Flanagan added.
