Bruton says tolls will create traffic jams

Fine Gael’s John Bruton has claimed that the proposed system of tolls on Irish roads is technologically redundant.

Mr Bruton said the tolls will create traffic jams and will lead to heavy goods vehicles driving through towns and villages to avoid the tolls.
