Countdown begins to St Patrick's festival

Final preparations are underway ahead of this year's St Patrick's festival, which gets underway tonight.

There will be four days of events in Dublin city, with other parades and parties planned all around the country.

Among the highlights will be a fireworks display tomorrow night, the St Patrick's Day parade on Sunday and a giant céilí.
