16-year-old killed in Co Carlow crash

A 16-year-old girl has died after the car she was travelling in hit a bridge wall in Co Carlow this morning.

The accident happened in Bagnelstown at around 1.30am.

The driver of the car and two other passengers were also injured in the crash.

The dead girl’s name will be withheld until all next of kin are informed.
