A pedestrian in his 50s has died after being hit by a four-wheel-drive vehicle as he crossed the road in Co Tipperary last night.

A pedestrian in his 50s has died after being hit by a four-wheel-drive vehicle as he crossed the road in Co Tipperary last night.

The accident happened shortly before 8pm in the town of Borrisoleigh.
