Dublin haulage company loses 72 jobs

A Dublin haulage company has gone into receivership with the loss of 72 jobs.

Con Transport Ltd, based at Baldonnell with depots in Cork and Sligo, is to close after more than 21 years in business.

The company blamed the closure on insurance premium increases as well as rising fuel and labour costs.
