FF accuses 'no' groups of tampering with 'yes' posters

Fianna Fail has accused groups campaigning for a ‘no’ vote in the abortion referendum of defacing Fianna Fail posters urging people to vote ‘yes’.

Party spokesman Pat Carey said some Fianna Fail posters in Dublin have had the section saying ‘vote yes’ covered by a sticker saying ‘vote no’. "It’s not contributing in any way to a reasoned and reasonable debate," he said.

"That kind of tactic belongs to another era."
