Prince of Wales in Aras ‘gaffe’

It has been reported that the Prince of Wales committed a ‘diplomatic gaffe’ during his visit to Aras an Uachtarain for lunch with President Mary McAleese.

According to reports, the prince asked one of the guests at the lunch when would Ireland ‘rejoin’ the commonwealth.
