FG slams Government's Europe record
The Government’s record on Europe and the economy has been slammed at the Fine Gael Ard Fheis today.
Ministers have been accused of snubbing vital EU meetings and of setting the country on a course for tax increases.
Deputy leader Jim Mitchell also accused Ministers of not representing Ireland at EU meetings.
He attacked the Tanaiste Mary Harney, saying she only attended nine of 98 Council of Ministers meetings.
Fine Gael’s Charlie Flanagan also said that soaring capital expenditure had not been matched by improved public services.
