CARI welcomes Ombudsman for Children Bill

The CARI foundation has welcomed legislation designed to address issues facing children through the appointment of an ombudsman.

Mary Hanafin, the Junior Minister with responsibility for children, published the Ombudsman for Children Bill yesterday, saying she hoped an appointment would be made by the end of this year.
