Itinerary for Prince's visit announced
Plans for the visit of Prince Charles to Ireland tomorrow and Friday have been finalised.
The Prince will arrive at Baldonnel airfield tomorrow morning, and will proceed to visit Aras an Uachtarain, where he will have lunch with President Mary McAleese, the British ambassador and other dignitaries.
He will also visit the Merchants Quay drug project in Dublin, which offers a range of services for those affected by drug use and HIV, as well as homelessness.
Later tomorrow afternoon, he will meet the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern at Government Buildings, before travelling to the Angel's Quest respite home at Glenageary, Co Dublin.
Prince Charles will conduct an investiture ceremony tomorrow evening, before attending a dinner at Glencairn.
Tanaiste Mary Harney and former Fine Gael leader John Bruton are among the invited guests. Before his departure on Friday, the Prince will visit Glencree centre for reconciliation in Co Wicklow.
He is due to leave Baldonnel at 12pm on Friday as he travels back to England and the funeral of his aunt, Princess Margaret.
