10 arrested in Ennis

There have been violent incidents during the early hours in Ennis, Co Clare and in Swords, Co Dublin.

In Ennis gardai arrested 10 teenagers during a violent outbreak on O’Connell St. It is understood two members of the force received slight injuries during the incident and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Meanwhile, a man has been arrested after a stabbing on the Main St in Swords. The victim, who is in his mid-20s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital to be treated for lacerations to the face.
