The US banker at the centre of an alleged €866m fraud has met voluntarily with the FBI and federal prosecutors, his lawyer said.

Bruce Lamdin said that John Rusnak, who is suspected of instigating bogus deals at Allied Irish Banks’ US subsidiary over the past 12 months, had met with the US attorney in Baltimore.
