Lawlor successfully avoids media for third time

Independent TD Liam Lawlor has managed to avoid the media for the third consecutive time as he arrived at Mountjoy Prison today to serve a 28-day jail term.

A media circus was camped outside Mr Lawlor’s home in Lucan and outside Mountjoy all morning, but the former Fianna Fail TD entered the prison in a garda van without being seen.
