Lawlor opts not to appeal

Liam Lawlor has confirmed that he is not to appeal his 28-day jail sentence for non-compliance with the Flood Tribunal.

Mr Lawlor would have had only half an hour tomorrow to lodge his appeal at the Supreme Court before his term at Mountjoy is due to start at midday.
