Oireachtas agrees to report on European affairs

The Oireachtas committee on Europe has agreed to a report designed to increase the Irish public’s input into European affairs.

Fine Gael TD John Bruton, who wrote the report, said it calls for the President of the European Commission to be directly elected by the European public.
