Report says stadium costs will run over

The chances of proposed national stadium going ahead have been dealt a heavy blow by the news that it is to run way over its expected budget.

An independent overview has revealed that the total cost of Sports Campus Ireland is €1.1bn, or £875m, well above the previous prediction of £550m.
